We have been using the Turnitin (formerly know as JISC Plagiarism Detection Service) since November 2004 in the School of Biological Sciences. We now use it across all second and third year course work in the School. These papers and reports should give you a quick insight into how we piloted the system and implemented it in October 2005 throughout the School. Please get in touch with me if you want to know more!
