Faulty Handsets

A common problem with handsets is them flashing yellow/ red lights and not registering votes. This sometimes happens when the radio channel used by the handset has been reset (by the student pressing lots of buttons!). to reset the channel, follow the instructions below. The default channel we use is 41 (not 21 as suggested on the slide)

Resetting the handset channel

If the handset does not work following the channel reset, please return to Jo Badge or Laura Ellis in the GENIE CETL office (ADR 205).
