Sailing

I have been sailing for over 30 years on anything from single-handed dinghies to drilling ships. Currently my home sailing location is Rutland Sailing Club, a major centre of inland sailing for the UK. Rutland water is the same area as Lake Windemere and is the largest man-made lake in Europe. If you haven't been to see it, do try it. Apart from sailing, people go there to walk or cycle round it, take a trip across it on the ferry boat "Rutland Belle", bird or bat watch, or go fly fishing.
