Project title: digitUL
Short description: A University of Leicester initiative to create an infrastructure for teams to work collaboratively in topics that fall under the broad scope of the Digital Economy and take advantage of funding opportunities that are made available by RCUK or other agencies.

Project title: Supporting learning and teaching on study visits with mobile and web-based tools
Short description: Develop and evaluate tools to support postgraduate teaching and learning on study visits.

Project title: Myartspace
Short description: Mobile technologies to support students' learning during school museum visits.
When: Jan 2005 - Mar 2007.
Partners: Culture Online (funding); The Sea (design and development); CETADL (evaluation); The Urbis museum of urban life (Manchester), D-Day museum (Portsmouth), The Study Gallery (Poole) (pilot sites).
Role: Managing the evaluation team.

Project title: Mobile learning tools for children with life-threatening allergies
Short description: design and build useful electronic tools to support anaphylactic allergy sufferers
When: Nov 2006 - Feb 2007.
Partners:
University of Birmingham (Sandra Woolley); University of Nottingham (Mike Sharples); supported by a Cadbury Schweppes Foundation award.
Role: consultant (surveying use of mobile technologies in health services).

Project title: ReFLEx - Resources for Learning by Exploration.
Short description: semantic browsing technologies to support OU Library users.
When: May 2006 - Dec 2006
Partners: Institute of Educational Technologies, OU Library, KMi - all at the Open University, UK.
Role: consultant for the Institute of Educational Technologies working on requirements analysis.
